I put them on with a $0.99 buy-it-now option and $1.48 shipping. After the ebay, Paypal fees, and postage, I’m making ~$1.47 per card.

Not too bad for 5 mins of work, but I’m not getting rich this way either 🙂 It’s a fun little money making hobby for my son and Ito do together!

Sure thing – I’ll let you know what strategy to sell them worked the best.

If you want to sell your cards, you may want to try a local card shop. They’ll usually give you half the price you can sell it for online, but it will save you a lot of time and effort. I have a few unopened boxes and a couple full sets (even the 1st edition!), but I am waiting until the fad comes back around to sell. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! Some of the rarest holo cards go for ~$100+ currently. One thing I found real interesting is that unopened booster packs can go for >$10,000!!! This is because it’s almost impossible to find an unopened pack from 15 years ago 🙂

I’m just waiting for them to become rare enough like baseball cards from the early 20th century. Maybe, just maybe…

The whole playing card game scene goes through phases. It’s impossible to say whether they’d be worth more or less down the road 🙂

If they’re in great condition, I’d say hold onto them as long as you’re sure they won’t get thrown out or messed up 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!!

I have japanese ones, holographic ones, etc. I am hoping to get some money out of them, but who knows. Maybe we just need to hold onto them for about 20 more years? lol
